Who Am I?
I live and work in Rottingdean, Brighton, Sussex as an integrated healthcare therapist, shamanic practitioner, author, teacher and independent celebrant.

Having come from a very 'left brain' environment, I never expected to be working in sacred ceremony for some of the most significant and joyful moments in people's lives, as well as working with deep stress and trauma and the shadows from which our healing emerges. However, as the result of a variety of profound experiences I have been blessed to receive, for the last 18 years I have been on a dual track journey. From the right brain I have been experiencing many altered states of consciousness, learning how to allow our inner selves to reach their full potential and in the process, how to heal our integrated physical, mental and emotional bodies.
From the left brain I have been reading and learning, trying to understand the psychology and physiology of stress and trauma, epigenetics, neuroplasticity and the modern post quantum physics of the inforealm, the holographic, entangled universe, in which our minds may simply be transmitters and receivers from a universal consciousness.
During this time there have been enormous advances in medicine and Idealism, the concept that Consciousness is fundamental, (a concept that was abolished to the realms of metaphysics for centuries), is now firmly back on the scientific agenda. The perennial philosophy is alive and thriving.
I see my purpose as being a bridge between the world of modern science/medicine and the ancient healing practices of the indigenous peoples around the world. What they knew and the healing they have offered for centuries is being rediscovered at the cutting edge of neuroscience and post quantum physics. In that process I hope not to engage in cultural misappropriation but rather cultural appreciation. I am a shamanic practitioner, not a shaman.
The trainings and experiences I have had include working around the Medicine Wheel with Alberto Villoldo's 'School of Healing the Light Body'; work with Q'ero shamans in the Andes and Shipibo shamans (and plant medicine) in the Amazon; a remote viewing course with David Morehouse; the Gateway and Lifeline programmes at The Monroe Institute in Virginia; re-birthing with Deike Begg in London; meditation classes at many centres around the world; Tantra classes with Transcendence Yoga in the UK and Ma Ananda Sarita at Osho Nisarga, in India; The Collective Healing Journey online with Thomas Hubl, focusing on healing Collective and Ancestral Trauma; Training in Family Constellations; and online training in Somatic Experiencing with Peter Levine.
I have been a Reiki Master since 2007, I completed the Foundation Year at the Psychosynthesis Education Trust in London in January 2008, and I qualified in Craniosacral Therapy at the College of Cranio-Sacral Therapy in June 2009.
Having learned about the power and importance of ceremony and ritual for our well-being and connectedness in community, in 2018 I qualified as a celebrant within the Fellowship of Independent Celebrants so that I may offer sacred, spiritual, shamanic weddings, vow renewals, namings and other ceremonies.
In my personal life I am married to my wonderful husband George Christie CLICK HERE - a shamanic practitioner, composer and musician and I have two adult children who both live in California.
